Language Achievement Badges

These badges are part of italkiโ€™s quarterly campaign, the Language Challenge. Participants are divided into 11 language learning teams and compete to invest more hours in learning. The top leaderboard achievers at the end of the campaign receive these badges, available both digitally and as a physical sticker set.

My challenge, within a tight timeframe of less than two weeks, was to utilize the brandโ€™s 4 main colors to create 11 scenes that are distinct yet stylistically cohesive. These scenes needed to be both representative and remain distinguishable when viewed on mobile devices.

In total, I created 4 distinct silhouettes for the badges to introduce variety without overwhelming the visual. Each small illustration is designed with attention to detail to enhance legibility in digital formats and add a touch of delicacy for visual enjoyment.

Originally created for a specific campaign,ย these badges enjoyed a widespread appreciation that lead to their continued use in various marketing materials in the following years. They resonated strongly with the target audience and consistently reinforced the brand message.
